\n\tAs Marvel<\/a>\u2018s Avengers: Doomsday<\/a> clock continues counting down, Famke Janssen<\/a> appears to be missing out on the X-Men<\/a> reunion.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actress, who previously played Jean Grey\/Phoenix in the X-Men franchise, recently said Marvel Studios<\/a> \u201cmade a mistake\u201d not bringing her back for the upcoming movie, premiering Dec. 18, despite several of her former co-stars returning.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am so bad at keeping secrets that I always say to everyone I\u2019m the worst actor in the world,\u201d she told Nerdtropolis<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s all on my face. You right away will read it.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tJanssen added of MCU<\/a> excluding her, \u201cI think they made a mistake, but hey, who am I? I\u2019m just a little me who thinks that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite no apparent invitation from Marvel, Janssen noted she still has some of Phoenix left in her and ready for another installment. \u201cOh, yes. I am ready. I am ready to show you some Phoenix, some very dark Phoenix,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn November, Janssen revealed she\u2019s \u201cnever ever<\/a>\u201d heard from Disney about potentially reprising her role for a future MCU project.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEvery time I do an interview, it\u2019s mentioned. It\u2019s interesting,\u201d she told Entertainment Weekly. \u201cI didn\u2019t realize that was such a big part. Every interview I do, that will come up, and of everything I say, that is going to be the only thing that\u2019s gonna be printed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJanssen continued, \u201cI should be flattered, I suppose, that this character has resonated with people. It\u2019s been so long, but it\u2019s nice that people are still talking about her. I\u2019m sure every single time there\u2019s a new movie that they\u2019re doing\u2026 it\u2019ll come up again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing her last appearance as Jean Grey in X: Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Janssen\u2019s franchise co-stars Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), James Marsden (Cyclops), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler) and Kelsey Grammer (Beast) have signed on to reprise their roles<\/a> in Avengers: Doomsday, premiering Dec. 18, 2026.<\/p>\n
