Mother of God! Speculation is gathering on a potential seventh season of Line of Duty.<\/p>\n
Speaking on BBC Radio, actor Adrian Dunbar teased that \u201chopefully that\u2019s going to happen\u201d, adding: \u201cWe\u2019re all keeping our fingers crossed, just waiting on the BBC to make an announcement.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know Jed [Mercurio]\u2019s working away,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I know me and Vicky [McClure] and Martin [Compston] really want to do it. So hopefully next year we\u2019ll be back in Belfast and rattling around the town making a nuisance of ourselves.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe wheels are turning on that. It\u2019s just down to the BBC to make an announcement.\u201d<\/p>\n
However in May co-star Martin Compston indicated nothing was imminent, saying the cast had projects into next year.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe really care about the quality of it. So if we come back, it would be for the right reasons,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt won\u2019t just be: \u2018Get another one done.\u2019 It\u2019ll be because Jed thinks there\u2019s a story to tell.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
