Jordan Nwora is staying with Crvena Zvezda despite transfer interest from Hapoel Tel Aviv. President Zeljko Drcelic declared that the prolific scorer is not for sale this summer.<\/p>\n

Arriving from Anadolu Efes Istanbul after his first season in European basketball, Nwora put on a show offensively with 16.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per match in 34 EuroLeague games this season, playing 27 minutes on average.<\/p>\n

Nwora’s season wasn’t unnoticed by other teams, most notably Hapoel Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n

Firstly reported by Sport 5<\/a>, confirmed by Meridian Sport<\/a>, Hapoel tried to bring Nwora and was ready to pay a significant buyout for Zvezda’s guard.<\/p>\n

Zvezda’s president Zeljko Drcelic had a short comment on the matter:<\/p>\n

“A lot of teams called, but Nwora is not for sale,” Drcelic shortly said for Meridian.<\/p>\n

Earlier this season, Drcelic said that Nwora, along with Jared Butler, has a contract for next season, with the only exit clause related to potential NBA offers.<\/p>\n
