Lily had called out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nowtolove.com.au\/entertainment\/farmer-wants-a-wife-speed-dates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Ally<\/a> for being disrespectful by kissing Dylan when the three of them were on a date together.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking exclusively to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nowtolove.com.au\/tvweek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">TV WEEK<\/a>, Lily says leaving Dylan\u2019s farm in South Australia when she did was \u201cabsolutely\u201d the right decision.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1001\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/horo-1-lily-fwaw_s16___ep_1___farmer_dylan_and_top_5_ladies_2-6a3349944c6c7.jpg\" alt=\"Farmer Dylan stands with  five girls he's chosen at the speed dates\" class=\"wp-image-1340051\"  \/>Lily hit it off with Dylan at the speed dates.  (Credit: Channel Seven)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve spoken to Ally since leaving, but I\u2019ve actually spoken to Dylan quite a bit as well,\u201d she says. \u201cInterestingly, once I was out of the environment and it became more of a one-on-one friendship, it gave me a completely different perspective. Without the pressure and competition of the show, it was much easier to just have genuine conversations and get to know each other as people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lily, 28, says Farmer Wants A Wife was \u201cdefinitely a unique experience\u201d, and one she\u2019s glad she had.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I quickly realised the format wasn\u2019t for me,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDylan is a great guy, and there were definitely moments where I could see why so many women were interested in him. But for me, it was difficult to genuinely explore a connection within the reality TV environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A wildlife vet tech from Queensland, Lily said she was very glad to get back to her work when she finished filming.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1001\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/horo-7-lily-fwaw-cinstagram-6a334a04d0c38.jpg\" alt=\"Lily holds an injured koala\" class=\"wp-image-1340053\"  \/>Lily is passionate about her work with wildlife.  (Credit: Instagram)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn fact, almost as soon as I returned, I was involved in rescuing more than 100 little red flying foxes that had become entangled in a golf course net,\u201d she explains. \u201cSo there I was, hundreds of metres above the ground cutting these animals out of this net, straight after a reality TV show! Moments like that really remind me why I do what I do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Right now, dating is not Lily\u2019s top priority.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been on a few dates since the show,\u201d she says, \u201cbut at the moment my biggest focus is wildlife conservation and raising awareness about the impact humans have on native animals. That\u2019s where most of my energy is going right now.
