It\u2019s been a quiet US Open so far, between Wyndham Clark\u2019s big lead, later-than-normal third-round tee-times and the constant Long Island traffic. But this weekend, a Rory McIlroy retort to a Shinneock Hills heckler got the crowd fired up. At least for a moment.<\/p>\n

Get in the bunker!\u201d while filming himself, presumably in an attempt to go viral. After waiting for Maverick McNealy\u2019s tee shot, McIlroy responded by\u2026 well, let\u2019s just show you.<\/p>\n McIlroy clearly stares down the fan, and then makes a motion to indicate a protruding belly. You could hear him screaming at the end of Clark\u2019s round yesterday.\u201d And it must\u2019ve been clear because even Clark commented on how low the energy felt to end his third round<\/a>.<\/p>\n It doesn\u2019t seem like things have been much better for McIlroy on the final day, either. On just the third hole of the day, the Northern Irishman was heard cursing at himself for a botched approach shot. \u201cJust go home, Rory.
