Commitment to Integrity: Clean Boxing Program\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Under the fundamental premise that athlete safety is the highest priority, the World Boxing Council reaffirms the guidelines of its Clean Boxing Program (CBP).<\/p>\n

Since its inception in 2016 (and its extension to the women\u2019s division in 2019), this initiative has sought to eradicate the use of prohibited substances in the sport.<\/p>\n

To maintain transparency and eligibility within the world rankings, all boxers ranked in the top 15 (men) and top 5 (women) must formalize their enrollment within a maximum period of 90 days.<\/p>\n

Absolute Athlete Responsibility<\/p>\n

Doping is not merely a breach of sports ethics that provides an unfair advantage; in combat sports, it represents a deadly hazard. The use of illegal substances can lead to irreversible physical damage or fatal outcomes for both the user and their opponent.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs an athlete, you have the absolute obligation to know every substance that enters your system. Your body is your territory and, therefore, your primary responsibility,\u201d the organization reminded.<\/p>\n

Key Points for the Boxer:<\/p>\n

Constant Updates: It is imperative to report any change in physical location that differs from the information provided in the original forms.
\nFacilitating Samples: Athletes must provide all necessary cooperation for sample collection by authorized officials.
\nCompliance: Strictly adhere to the regulations and resolutions issued by VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) and the WBC.
