KIIS FM newsreader Brooklyn Ross<\/a> has addressed whether he will work with Kyle Sandilands<\/a> again, confirming his future remains at the radio station.<\/p>\n

Ross, who was a prominent fixture on The Kyle & Jackie O Show before its demise, told listeners he would not be jumping ship to Sandilands\u2019 upcoming digital live show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The longtime newsreader confirmed he won’t be working on Sandilands’ new project.\u00a0Instagram\/@brooklynross<\/p>\n

Ross said he had spoken to Sandilands<\/a> and was now ready to \u201clet everyone know how I feel about this\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will not be working with Kyle on his new venture<\/a>, I\u2019m going to be staying here at KIIS,\u201d Ross said, prompting celebrations from his co-workers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m obviously very sad to not work with Kyle again. I really love him, and you know, the feeling from him to me is mutual,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I just wish him totally all the best for what he\u2019s got next.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ross said Sandilands was happy for former Kyle & Jackie O staff who remained at the network and that he had been tuning in to the breakfast slot\u2019s current show hosted by Mike E and a roster of co-hosts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last week, Sandilands and his former employer, ARN, reached a surprise settlement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sandilands also told the network he \u201cintends to pursue independent media opportunities\u201d.<\/p>\n

In an interview with the\u00a0Game Changers\u00a0podcast<\/a>, Sandilands told host Craig Bruce\u00a0about his future plans, revealing that a paper napkin with plans<\/a>\u00a0for a subscriber-led show online actually pushed him to look into it further.<\/p>\n

Ross was the Kyle & Jackie O newsreader for more than 12 years.\u00a0Instagram\/@brooklynross<\/p>\n

The shock jock is taking things online, opting for a totally live show again, giving fans and listeners the same access to call in and listen live \u2013 similar to a radio show \u2013 but completely digitally. <\/p>\n

Sandilands has also confirmed that he has employed some staff members from the former KIIS breakfast show that have since been made redundant from ARN. <\/p>\n
