{"id":755153,"date":"2026-06-23T13:57:19","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T13:57:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/755153\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T13:57:19","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T13:57:19","slug":"bathurst-finds-taker-for-mount-panorama-assets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/755153\/","title":{"rendered":"Bathurst finds taker for Mount Panorama assets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BATHURST Regional Council\u2019s ploy to monetise Mount Panorama has landed a taker.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/bathursts-plan-to-monetise-mount-panorama\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was unveiled last October<\/a>, making everyday advertising spaces available to buy in an effort to help the local community.<\/p>\n<p>Upwards of $300,000 per year was outlined as an achievable outcome from the overall initiative.<\/p>\n<p>As part of that, Enthusiast Motor Insurance has snapped up signage on Mountain Straight and at Skyline.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo have our name standing on the Mountain: at Brock\u2019s Skyline and on Mountain Straight is genuinely humbling,\u201d said Enthusiast Motor Insurance CEO Stacy Vickers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/1-18-scale-1984-bathurst-1000-71-ford-mustang-johnson-french-model?utm_source=website&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=buy-button&amp;utm_content=buy-button\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/18861_046ccdb7-e300-4d7f-a11c-8cfdd08f8108_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re enthusiasts first, and this is the most famous piece of road in the country so it means a great deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur thanks to Bathurst Regional Council and to the local community for the warm welcome. We\u2019re proud to be part of the Mountain\u2019s story, and we\u2019re here for the long haul.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bathurst mayor Robert Taylor welcomed the deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir investment in signage at the circuit is a strong show of support for both our motorsport precinct and the wider Bathurst community, and we thank them for their enthusiasm and commitment to the region,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Mount Panorama\u2019s next major motorsport event is the Repco Bathurst 1000 in October.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BATHURST Regional Council\u2019s ploy to monetise Mount Panorama has landed a taker.
