Yesterday Apple released<\/a> beta 2 for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and more\u2014but watchOS was absent. Now today, watchOS 27 developer beta 2 has arrived to complete the lineup.<\/p>\n watchOS 27 beta 2 is here, as testers await Siri AI\u2019s arrival<\/p>\n If you\u2019re running Apple\u2019s developer betas this summer, yesterday brought new releases for almost every platform. And today, the beta 2 lineup is complete with the arrival of watchOS.<\/p>\n watchOS 27 developer beta 2 is now available. Testers can access it from the Watch app on iPhone, as long as iOS 27 is already installed.<\/p>\n Update: Beta 2 is currently unavailable<\/a> on Apple Watch Ultra 3, but it\u2019s out for other supported models.<\/p>\n When the first watchOS 27 beta arrived earlier this month, Siri AI was a key missing feature.<\/p>\n Apple says Siri AI is coming to watchOS just like iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. In fact, the company pointed to Siri, in part, to explain why so many Apple Watch models<\/a> aren\u2019t supported by the new software.<\/p>\n However, testers have been unable to give Siri AI a try yet in watchOS 27. Perhaps today\u2019s beta 2 will change that.<\/p>\n According to Apple, Siri AI in watchOS 27 should be able to do all the things it can on other platforms. That would be a huge upgrade over the current, fractured Siri experience across iOS, watchOS, and more. Here\u2019s how the company recently articulated it<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cWe really wanted to make sure the Siri experience is a singular and consistent experience, whether I decide to ask Siri on my wrist a question, or whether I have my phone in my hand and I decide to interact with Siri there.
