The High Point drama with Jett Lawrence and Haiden Deegan has had everyone talking, including Chad Reed, who will always give his honest opinion.<\/p>\n
Here, in conversation with Ricky Carmichael on a brilliant episode of Title 24, Reed says he enjoys Deegan\u2019s antics because it adds more colour to the sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Reed opined: \u201cI just think it\u2019s funny and\u00a0my personal opinion on it\u00a0is that I love it. It changes our, let\u2019s\u00a0call it the last 10 years of vanilla,\u00a0and it starts to bring back some flair\u00a0and you\u2019ve got guys that genuinely\u00a0just hate to lose, want to win, want to battle.\u00a0I think if you divide them up\u00a0individually, you know,\u00a0I think that Jett, he has the 450 experience.\u00a0He has the wins. He\u2019s continuing to show that he\u2019s\u00a0still the class of the field.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cHaiden is closer than it appears.\u00a0I think he\u2019s doing really well. He\u2019s managing it.\u00a0He\u2019s still doing his thing and you know,\u00a0he\u2019s still talking and this past week\u00a0you start seeing Jett doing this\u00a0and I think as much as I hate to say it,\u00a0but I think that this weekend\u00a0it would be hard for me to say that\u00a0that Haiden didn\u2019t affect Jett\u2019s weekend. Jett\u2019s single lap was so impressive\u00a0and then he backed it up with this crash\u00a0that was so out of character\u00a0and it was just, in my opinion, it was Jett not in the present and it was Jett just having more thoughts, more ideas, more things going on\u00a0than than maybe what he\u2019s used to.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cSo many things like that can go wrong\u00a0in so many ways so quickly,\u00a0you know and Haiden,\u00a0you know, again stirring the pot and he takes little jabs\u00a0in the right areas.\u201d<\/p>\n
