BIG RAPIDS, Mich.\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Ferris State University PGA Golf Management Program and Katke Golf Course\u00a0are
\n partnering with\u00a0alumnus\u00a0Michael Rawlins, co-owner of Club Caddie, who has donated
\n use of the company’s golf operations software platform to support student education
\n and enhance daily golf course operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The donation will provide Ferris State PGA Golf Management students with hands-on
\n experience using one of the golf industry’s leading management software systems while
\n simultaneously strengthening operational efficiencies at Katke Golf Course, the program’s
\n on-campus learning laboratory.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rawlins, a\u00a02014\u00a0graduate of Ferris State University’s PGA Golf Management Program,
\n understands the importance of exposing students to the technologies they will\u00a0encounter\u00a0throughout
\n their careers in the golf industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“One of the greatest strengths of the Ferris State PGA Golf Management Program is
\n its commitment to experiential learning,”\u00a0he\u00a0said.\u00a0“Students learn best when they
\n have access to the same tools and technologies used by golf facilities across the
\n country. Club Caddie is proud to support the next generation of PGA Professionals
\n and help provide valuable real-world experience before they graduate.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Club Caddie<\/a>\u00a0is a comprehensive golf operations platform that integrates tee sheet management,
\n point-of-sale functionality, customer relationship management, reporting tools, memberships,
\n tournaments, and other key business functions\u00a0utilized\u00a0by golf facilities nationwide.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The\u00a0partnership allows students to\u00a0gain direct exposure to the software in classroom,
\n laboratory, and operational settings. This experience will\u00a0help\u00a0them\u00a0to develop\u00a0practical
\n skills in golf facility management, data analysis, customer service, merchandising,
\n and operational decision-making\u2014competencies that are increasingly important in today’s
\n golf industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The implementation of Club Caddie at Katke Golf Course will create a living laboratory
\n environment where students can learn alongside professionals while\u00a0observing\u00a0how technology
\n supports business performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rawlins’ contribution reflects the strong tradition of alumni engagement that has
\n long distinguished the Ferris State\u00a0program. Graduates throughout the golf industry
\n continue to support current students through mentorship, internships, employment opportunities,
\n and educational partnerships.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Founded in 1975, the\u00a0Ferris\u00a0State PGA\u00a0Golf Management Program<\/a>\u00a0is\u00a0the first\u00a0PGA-accredited university program. The program combines business education,
\n golf industry experience, and PGA Professional training to prepare students for leadership
\n roles throughout the golf industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The program prepares students for\u00a0successful careers in the golf industry through
\n a combination of academic coursework, extensive internship experiences, player development
\n opportunities, and PGA Professional education. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Science
\n degree while progressing toward membership in the PGA of America.\u00a0<\/p>\n
