Michael Chandler has been elected the owner of our ‘Some Hype’ and ‘Little UFC Success’ square.

Here’s Jack Reacharound’s winning post advocating for the other ‘Iron Mike’.

Hello, Michael Chandler.

The man was a world champion in Bellator, you could even say he was the poster boy of that promotion for awhile there. Absolutely destroyed Dan Hooker in his debut, setting him up for a title fight with Oliviera.

Let’s look at poor Mike now, 2-6 in the UFC with the only wins being the aforementioned Hooker & the reanimated corpse of Tony Ferguson during his record setting 8 fight losing streak. He’s put on some absolutely amazing fights but his record is only getting worse from here… “Iron” Michael Chandler for the square.

This is very well put and it was convincing enough to drop my pick, Will Brooks, down into second place. Good stuff everyone.

That means we have just one square left on this grid.

So, tell me, who had ‘Little Hype’ and ‘Little UFC Success’. And we are defining hype as something either the fighter had coming into the promotion or that they generated early on in their first few UFC appearances.

Write who you think this is in the comments below and rec any you agree with. Comment with the most recs wins the square.

OK, let’s see who makes this grid whole!

Michael Chandler has been elected the owner of our ‘Some Hype’ and ‘Little UFC Success’ square.
