Cody Walker<\/a>\u2019s son has delivered a classic post-game interview moment after the Rabbitohs<\/a> scored a big win over the Eels<\/a> on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

The veteran five-eighth crossed for a double as South Sydney moved into the NRL<\/a>\u2019s top-four, continuing to perform despite turning 36 earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Walker has produced some masterful performances over the course of this season and it was no different at CommBank Stadium.<\/p>\n

But his display during the 80 minutes might have been outshone by his son. <\/p>\n

During a post-game interview, Walker Jr. took over and fielded questions from Nine host James Bracey about the performance from Souths.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think they were great, I think they were outstand-able,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey were great – oi, Cody Walker, the best.\u201d<\/p>\n

Billy Slater<\/a> then asked him to answer whether Walker would be playing again next season, to which he gave a hilarious response.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe better play, I swear. If he doesn\u2019t … nah, he has to play,\u201d the young man said.<\/p>\n

Walker is unsigned for 2027 as it stands, but with the football he\u2019s played this season, it\u2019s hard to imagine he won\u2019t ink a new deal with the Bunnies.<\/p>\n
