AARON Seton\u2019s solo Supercars Championship debut could come six weeks earlier than expected, pending approvals.<\/p>\n

The third-generation racer first appeared in the main game at the 2022 Bathurst 1000, co-driving with Matt Stone Racing\u2019s Jack Le Brocq<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some four years later, his maiden opportunity to have a car to himself on the big stage is locked in, in the form of an MSR wildcard at the Ipswich Super440 on August 21-23.<\/p>\n

News that Cameron Crick<\/a> has withdrawn from the upcoming Townsville 500 on health grounds<\/a> may mean Seton comes to the fore even sooner.<\/p>\n

The Undercut \u2013 How hot is too hot?<\/p>\n

The Undercut is back for another week, downloading a hot weekend in the Top End for Supercars!<\/p>\n

MSR has committed to running its #35 Camaro for the July 10-12 event, and with Crick\u2019s blessing Seton is in the box seat provided the driver swap gets the all-clear from Supercars and its Commission.<\/p>\n

Beyond the Repco Sprint Cup, Seton is locked in as Zach Bates<\/a>\u2019 co-driver for The Bend 500 and Bathurst 1000 enduros.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old son of two-time ATCC title winner Glenn Seton<\/a> has runs on the board in Townsville: he chalked up eight Super2 races at the Reid Park Street Circuit, recording a pole position and third-place finish along the way.<\/p>\n

Tickford Racing will also field a Townsville wildcard, for young gun Reuben Goodall<\/a>.<\/p>\n
