The balloting concluded today at noon, with Phase 2 beginning at noon Monday.<\/p>\n
Adley Rutschman finished fourth among catchers with 572,287 votes. First baseman Pete Alonso was fifth with 563,527, designated hitter Samuel Basallo was sixth with 311,655, shortstop Gunnar Henderson was sixth with 381,502, second baseman Jeremiah Jackson was ninth with 241,368, and outfielder Taylor Ward slid from 17th to 19th with 348,989.<\/p>\n
Rutschman is on the seven-day concussion injured list but eligible to return Friday.<\/p>\n
The Blue Jays have a representative at every position, and second baseman Ernie Clement is a starter because he received the most votes with 3,232,932.<\/p>\n
