(Source: NZTA)<\/p>\n<p>Brougham St has since reopened to traffic after being closed from 8pm Friday through to 5am Saturday to allow the operation to take place safely.<\/p>\n<p>The bridge is a key component of NZTA&#8217;s SH76\/Brougham Street upgrade project and will provide a traffic-free crossing for people walking, cycling or scooting, with a direct connection to nearby schools, workplaces and residential areas.
