In 2019, he finished 17th in the Race to Dubai standings which opened up starts on the PGA TOUR.<\/p>\n<p>Between 2021 and 2023, Schwab made more than 50 starts but his playing time was significantly reduced thereafter.<\/p>\n<p>He made his first DP World Tour appearance in seven months at the Austrian Open in May.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHi everyone, for some time now I have been struggling a lot mentally and emotionally,\u201d Schwab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaDMLb4jGnn\/?img_index=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe past few years have been difficult on the golf course, and these struggles have increasingly begun to affect my life away from the game as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a lot of reflection, I have decided to take time away from professional golf to focus on life off the golf course. For the foreseeable future, I won\u2019t be competing in any tournaments and will instead focus on personal matters and priorities outside of golf.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m incredibly lucky and thankful to have a family, team, partners, and fans around me to support me on this path.
