Footage taken outside the siblings\u2019 home showed a barefoot Kitty<\/a> \u2013 wearing tight black shorts and a halter top with an illustration of white hands cupping her breasts \u2013 grinning briefly at the ground as two officers escorted her into a patrol car around 4 p.m. Thursday.<\/p>\nHer similarly scantily clad younger sister appeared to put on a show for the camera: brazenly flashing her pearly whites and giggling after sarcastically yelling at the man behind the camera, \u201cStop recording!\u201d<\/p>\n
A third woman, Kyandra Renee Faz, 21, was also arrested for the grisly murder, according to the Del Rio Police Department, which has not publicly revealed a motive.<\/p>\n
Michael Elizondo, an independent journalist in Del Rio, told The Post on Sunday that he rushed to the Diazes\u2019 home after hearing from a friend that there was police activity in the area \u2013 and began filming without realizing what the young women were being arrested for.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t know what was going on, but I knew it must be serious\u201d based on the at least five police cars parked outside the house, said Elizondo, 44.<\/p>\n
\u201cI saw the first girl going into the car, and I thought, \u2018Whatever.\u2019 \u2026 But the second one caught my eye.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat girl was in a happy mood. \u2026 She was all smiling, goofing off like nothing happened,\u201d he.<\/p>\n
After Amaya was put in the police cruiser, \u201cAll of the sudden I see the window go down, and the girl was sticking out her face, sticking out her tongue and goofing off,\u201d Elizondo said.<\/p>\n
A neighbor in the area later told the journo that they\u2019d seen the sisters \u201cdriving recklessly\u201d down the road earlier in the day, he said.<\/p>\n
Footage reportedly shows a bloody Pe\u00f1a facing down her three attackers outside a Sonic drive-through before she died.<\/p>\n
She succumbed from her injuries at a hospital in San Antonio around 9 p.m.<\/p>\n
Cops were called to the medical center and tracked down the location of the savage attack to an address in Del Rio, which is home to roughly 35,000 residents.<\/p>\n
The sisters and Faz were each charged with murder and transported to a local jail, according to the Del Rio Police Department. The department did not respond to Post inquiries.<\/p>\n
Kitty\u2019s social media shows she is the mother of a young son.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy son is about to be 4 years old and still a only child,\u201d she captioned a TikTok clip showing the boy earlier this month.<\/p>\n
