On Sunday, the San Francisco Giants<\/a> will finish their series with the Atlanta Braves<\/a> at Oracle Park.<\/p>\n

The two teams are tied up at 1-1, so whoever wins will take the series.<\/p>\n

We have acquired INF Buddy Kennedy from the Giants in exchange for cash considerations. Buddy has been added to the 40-man roster.<\/p>\n

Before Sunday\u2019s game, the Giants<\/a> announced that they had made several roster moves.<\/p>\n

One of those moves included designating Buddy Kennedy for assignment.<\/p>\n

The <\/a>Giants<\/a> wrote (via X):<\/a> \u201cThe #SFGiants have made the following roster moves today: \u2022 OF Heliot Ramos<\/a> (#17) returned from his rehab assignment and reinstated from the 10-day Injured List. \u2022 IF Buddy Kennedy designated for assignment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kennedy had been in the middle of his first season with the Giants<\/a> (and appeared in seven games).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s possible that he could return to their Triple-A affiliate (if he doesn\u2019t get claimed).<\/p>\n

Kennedy was picked in the 5th round of the 2017 MLB<\/a> Draft.<\/p>\n

He has also spent time with the Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a>, Philadelphia Phillies<\/a>, Los Angeles Dodgers, Detroit Tigers<\/a> and Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> over part of five seasons in the MLB.<\/p>\n

Over 74 career games, the the 27-year-old is batting .171 with 28 hits, two home runs, 20 RBIs, 16 runs and one stolen base.<\/p>\n
