(WLBT) &#8211; While rosters across college basketball turn over almost completely from one season to the next, Southern Miss guard Brewer Carruth has stayed put.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Parklane Academy product is entering his third season with the Golden Eagles, making him the program\u2019s longest-tenured player on the roster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In today\u2019s transfer portal era, that kind of continuity is rare. Carruth is no longer just an experienced player \u2014 he is the example every new Golden Eagle is expected to follow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cExperience is powerful, and it is something I\u2019ve lacked the past few years,\u201d Carruth said. \u201cIt is really contagious. One of the challenges [Coach Ladner] gave me, and I gave myself, is to set that standard really high.
