McGregor recently mocked his former boxing opponent, Floyd
\nMayweather<\/a>, out of nowhere. \u201cThe Notorious\u201d reacted to a video
\nof Mayweather from 2018, which was shortly after their fight in
\n2017. In the video, \u201cMoney\u201d can be seen entering an MMA cage inside
\na gym and walking around. McGregor simply reacted to the photo with
\na \u201ctears of joy\u201d emoticon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Lucrative Payday

\nMcGregor was the UFC featherweight and lightweight champion when he
\nfought former five- division boxing champion Mayweather in a
\nmassive boxing match, which was billed as the \u201cMoney\u201d fight.
\nMayweather tired out McGregor before stopping him in the 10th
\nround. Mayweather\u2019s declared payout from the fight was $100
\nmillion, and McGregor\u2019s disclosed payout was $30 million. However,
\nboth reportedly earned much more from the fight, with Mayweather
\nreportedly making $280 million and McGregor making $130 million.
\nWhile ideas were subsequently floating about a potential MMA match
\nbetween the two, it never came to fruition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

McGregor (22-6) is now scheduled to return to MMA for the first
\ntime since breaking his leg in a trilogy loss against Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> in 2021. The Dubliner will take on Max
\nHolloway<\/a> in a welterweight bout at UFC 329<\/a>
