After the officer approaches her car, Russini says, \u201cI\u2019m an NFL reporter, and I just broke that Sean McDermott got fired from the Bills. And that I what I was just sending to send [sic], a tweet. I was gonna pull over, because I have to make calls. I know you don\u2019t care, but I just wanted you to know my reason why.\u201d<\/p>\n
The officer says, \u201cObviously you were on your phone for a while. . . . I understand you\u2019ve got a job.\u201d<\/p>\n
Then, Russini says, \u201cYou know who I was on the phone with? Brian Daboll. He wants the job.\u201d<\/p>\n
Next, she asks the officer if he\u2019s a fan of the Giants or Jets.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m actually \u2014 I\u2019m not a fan of either,\u201d the officer says.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat is your team?\u201d Russini replies.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m a Vikings fan, unfortunately,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Russini then shows him her phone, and a text exchange with Vikings coach Kevin O\u2019Connell. But she didn\u2019t FaceTime O\u2019Connell. She simply showed the officer her phone.<\/p>\n
She also added, regarding the Vikings, \u201cTheir quarterback sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n
After going to his vehicle, the officer eventually returns and says, \u201cI\u2019m gonna cut you a break on the cellphone. I understand your job requires you to be on the phone a lot. Just try to wait \u2018til you get home, OK?\u201d<\/p>\n
And that was that. There was never a FaceTime.
