BERKELEY: Ajdin Hrustic believes Socceroos<\/a> fans back in Australia will be showing their commitment to the cause with an all-nighter ahead of the knockout clash against Egypt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The match in Dallas<\/a> will be played at 1pm on Friday afternoon, but 4am AEST on the Saturday morning, meaning fans back home have a choice of rising early or staying awake, maybe after a Friday night party according to Hrustic. <\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone will be out Friday night, leave the club at 3 and be ready for the game at 4am,\u201d he said as the Socceroos left camp in Berkeley. <\/p>\n

Hrustic\u2019s comments came as the Socceroos received a loud goodbye from staff at Claremont Resort and Club with chants of \u201cAussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi\u201d.<\/p>\n

With the days between matches now much shorter following the round of 32, the Socceroos won\u2019t return to the San Francisco Bay Area. <\/p>\n

If they beat Egypt in Dallas, the next match will be against Argentina or Cabo Verde in Atlanta. Kansas City would follow before Atlanta again. The final is in New York\/New Jersey. <\/p>\n

What awaits the Socceroos in Dallas is an air-conditioned stadium due to the temperatures that could reach 37 degrees. <\/p>\n

Hrustic explained why he and his teammates are prepared. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe had it in the last World Cup<\/a>,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe played in Doha against the UAE and Peru (in qualifiers) where it was 40 plus degrees in Qatar. You\u2019ve just got to adjust, it\u2019s never going to be perfect, but you\u2019ve got to be ready and switch on. You\u2019ve got to deal with it, right? Because what, we feel, is what they\u2019ll feel. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt didn\u2019t feel that bad. It\u2019s just different, you\u2019ve got to be prepared and that\u2019s what we\u2019ve got and sums us up.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the knockout rounds now ahead of the Socceroos, penalties are realistic conclusion for any match. <\/p>\n

The first set of matches in the round of 32 has delivered two thrilling shootouts already between Paraguay and Germany<\/a> before Morocco and Netherlands<\/a> as well. <\/p>\n

Hrustic was realistic about how shootouts can end, considering he missed a penalty against Cameroon<\/a> in the FIFA series friendly, but declared the side\u2019s prepared. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ready, the boys look ready, and we\u2019ve prepared for every scenario,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope it gets done in 90, if not 120, if not, we\u2019ll be ready for penalties. That\u2019s the mindset we\u2019ll have and the staff. <\/p>\n

\u201cI missed against Cameroon right? It can happen. It\u2019s all part of football, it\u2019s part of learning. I think you\u2019re learning every day, it doesn\u2019t matter how young or old you are, you\u2019ve just got to be ready for that one moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for going even further in the tournaments, there are no limitations for this squad. <\/p>\n

\u201cMost likely it will happen one day, and it can be us, right? If you have your day on that day you go further, the next day it can be your day again,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
