In his initial response to the lawsuit, Chris argued Maria provoked the dog and caused her own injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"continued\" class=\"continued-anchor\"\/><\/p>\n<p>In court, Maria said she was covered in blood after the attack. Chris said he didn\u2019t call 911 personally, fearing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/06\/18\/chris-brown-testifies-in-court\/\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">call would leak<\/a>.
