NSW Blues<\/a> back-rower Hudson Young<\/a> has brushed off concerns about stopping Queensland\u2019s Sam Walker<\/a> after a brilliant start to his State of Origin<\/a> career.<\/p>\n

Walker has been in excellent form for the Maroons<\/a> in his debut series and Young knows a massive portion of the burden rests on his shoulders. <\/p>\n

However, the Blues enforcer isn\u2019t losing any sleep over the assignment ahead of the crucial game three decider at Suncorp Stadium.<\/p>\n

“No, he\u2019s probably the last person I think of,” Young said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a great player. All their spine players have been playing really well and we\u2019ve got a big job coming game three to shut them down.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the tough Raiders star running directly at the opposition halfback, Young is fully aware of his brief from head coach Laurie Daley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah 100 per cent that\u2019s my job as a back-rower,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s the opposite half, and I think it\u2019s more important me getting my game right, playing to my best ability, and helping our state.\u201d<\/p>\n

Known for his aggressive, abrasive style on the field, Young has no plans to take a backward step and vowed to \u2018stir up\u2019 Walker. <\/p>\n

\u201cI try and be calm off the field, but … they\u2019re good players and I like going after blokes and stirring them up – that\u2019s just the way I\u2019ve always played,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

“I think in Origin you can do that a little bit more than the NRL.
