Less than a year after they tied the knot in Byron Bay, Daniel Rioli and his TikTok star wife Paris Lawrence<\/a> have confirmed they have a baby on the way. <\/p>\n

The Gold Coast Suns player<\/a>, 29, and his wife confirmed the news in a post shared to Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, posing on a beach with a photo of their sonogram.<\/p>\n

AFL star Daniel Rioli has announced he’s expecting his first child with TikTok star Paris Lawrence.\u00a0Instagram\/@paris_lawrence<\/p>\n

\u201cHalf me and half you\u2026 baby Rioli coming soon,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so over the moon! Even though it feels like we already know you, we can\u2019t wait to meet you our bubba \ud83e\udd79.\u201d<\/p>\n

The happy announcement comes just weeks after the star defender endured a major blow on the field<\/a>, suffering a jaw injury during a loss to Hawthorn on June 19. <\/p>\n

Rioli suffered a fractured jaw after an early collision with Josh Weddle.<\/p>\n

Weddle was handed down a three match ban<\/a> for the incident, after crunching Rioli in a hip-and-shoulder just shy of half-time. The incident was graded as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact.<\/p>\n

Rioli has been with Australian DJ Lawrence since the start of 2021.<\/p>\n

They confirmed their engagement in June 2024<\/a>, with Rioli getting down on one knee after a helicopter ride to the top of a snowy mountain.<\/p>\n

He did just that in November 2025, tying the knot in Byron Bay.<\/p>\n

It was an intimate wedding with around 80 guests, including many AFL stars luxury estate Deux Belettes. <\/p>\n
