The car will appear in demonstration runs throughout the event, treating fans to a snippet of 1990s F1.<\/p>\n

When not on track, the car will be parked among a variety of display vehicles for fans to admire up close.<\/p>\n

Built as a direct evolution of the team\u2019s 1994 car, the S951 only appeared in the first five rounds of the season, failing to qualify in Monaco.<\/p>\n

The car was originally piloted by Italian Domenico Schiattarella and Jos Verstappen, father of four-time world champion Max.<\/p>\n

Quinn last drove the car publicly at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival in late February.<\/p>\n

Classic QLD will see over 100 historic vehicles hit the track for races, sprints, and time trials.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

While the Simtek will only complete demonstration laps, fans will be treated to racing from a variety of different categories, such as touring cars, F5000, Commodore Cup, Trans Am and motorbikes.<\/p>\n

Friday is reserved for practice and qualifying, with racing commencing on Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am.<\/p>\n
