He got up holding his left shoulder and skated to the other end of the ice in what appeared to be considerable pain while doubled over. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/chicago.suntimes.com\/blackhawks\/2026\/07\/02\/blackhawks-connor-bedard-shoulder-injury-vancouver\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/chicago.suntimes.com\/blackhawks\/2026\/07\/02\/blackhawks-connor-bedard-shoulder-injury-vancouver\">According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun Times<\/a>, Don Meehan, Bedard\u2019s agent, said more would be known about Bedard\u2019s status in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Bedard missed nearly a month last season with a right shoulder injury after being injured while taking a face-off. He did not play in this summer\u2019s men\u2019s IIHF World Championship in Switzerland in part due to rehabbing his shoulder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Bedard is currently a restricted free agent, but he and his agent have been negotiating with the Blackhawks, according to Pope.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 20-year-old played in 69 games last season and tallied career-highs in goals (30) and assists (45).
