Sam Pang recently made a guest appearance on Cup Fever alongside pals Santo Cilauro and Ed Kavalee, but is now enjoying a mid year break.<\/p>\n
Pang has been starring in Ground Up on ABC, The Front Bar on Seven, Have You Been Paying Attention? on 10 as well as the SBS VICELAND guest appearance.<\/p>\n
For the over-achieving under-achiever, he declined the Cup Fever role as he recently explained to TV Tonight.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Tonight Show is coming back at the end of the year after Have You Been Paying Attention?, so I thought, \u2018Those two don\u2019t need me, to be honest. The original show was Santo and Ed anyway.\u2019 I\u2019m really looking forward to that show, it\u2019ll be great to have them back, having a show to guide us through the World Cup.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019m trying to space (TV appearances) out. I am very wary of how much I\u2019m doing, and when they\u2019re on. The shows I\u2019m on, I\u2019m very lucky to be on, and I love doing them. Some people say \u2018Jeez you\u2019re on a lot of shows.\u2019 I say \u2018That\u2019s fine. Just tell me which one you want me to get rid of?’\u201d<\/p>\n
This year Pang also turned down hosting the Logies for a fourth time, recently revealing, \u201cIf any of the shows are nominated, and I\u2019m lucky enough to get an invite, then I\u2019ll absolutely go along. That\u2019s what I used to do. I used to go before the hosting. I would just go along and sit on a table and get drunk for five hours or six hours or however long the thing went.
