Although the JackJumpers fell 103-102, Hamilton delivered one of the performances of the season, finishing with 36 points, eight rebounds and five assists while shooting an incredible 16-of-23 (69 per cent) from the field.<\/p>\n<p>However, his impressive debut campaign came to a heartbreaking end in January when he suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) against the Sydney Kings. The club confirmed two days later that he would miss the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the setback, Hamilton\u2019s impact was undeniable.<\/p>\n<p>Across 27 appearances, he averaged 18.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 46.9 per cent from the field and 35.1 per cent from three-point range. His performances earned him selection in the All-NBL Second Team for the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n<p>Bryce Hamilton re-signs with the Tasmania JackJumpers for two-years.Source: JackJumpers<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released by the club, head coach Scott Roth said retaining Hamilton had been a major priority throughout the off-season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPart of our whole strategy this off-season was to figure out how we could get Bryce Hamilton back,\u201d Roth said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact that we\u2019ve been able to secure him for two years is really a great outcome for us and for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can help him through his rehab, get him back on the court sooner rather than later this season and then have him for a full healthy season too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BOOMERS: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com.au\/basketball\/fiba-world-cup\/fiba-world-cup-boomers-crush-guam-12452-as-bryce-cotton-shines-on-debut-in-fiba-asia-qualifiers-news-highlights\/news-story\/367061963cf87b986e7990750285e42c\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">NBL superstar\u2019s statement debut as EVERY Boomers player rated in demolition job<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hamilton underwent surgery in February and has continued his rehabilitation, with General Manager of Basketball Operations Darren Smith saying the club hopes he can return at some stage during the upcoming season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving Bryce back continues to elevate us into championship contention,\u201d Smith said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s the kind of player who can rise to the big moments. When he has the ball, you can feel the tension in the arena heighten.
