(Supplied: Boulia Camel Races)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Bob Spilsbury has owned and operated Boulia&#8217;s Min Min Store for about 50 years and said the issue was hurting his hip pocket.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m going to give it one more blackout and, if not, I&#8217;ll go ahead and buy our own standby plant because we just can&#8217;t be inconvenienced \u2014 the way it has been \u2014 in future,&#8221;  he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;We&#8217;ve just got to look after our customers; we&#8217;ve got to look after our stock to save ourselves a loss in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Mr Spilsbury said after Ergon Energy&#8217;s resident powerhouse superintendent left Boulia, there was now no-one attending the site at any time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;It all comes back to no-one here in attendance to look after the minor problems, which become major problems,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">He said the blackouts were having a big impact on his sales, including the loss of cold goods.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re the only food supplier in town, and everything nowadays is electronic, with scanning and stock control \u2026 and we just can&#8217;t serve our customers,&#8221;  he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;We haven&#8217;t been able to trade for two or three days running because [there&#8217;s] only a couple of hours a day when the power has been restored.
