The couple\u2019s relationship became the topic of online speculation after Influencer Updates Australia founder Amber Paul discussed break-up rumours on her podcast.<\/p>\n
The Gambins have been together for more than a decade and tied the knot in February 2025 after getting engaged in New York two years before. They welcomed their daughter Isla in 2024.<\/p>\n
Paul told her 68,000 Instagram followers that the couple had been \u201cposting some very cryptic things this week that imply they\u2019ve broken up, but then they\u2019re saying they haven\u2019t\u201d.<\/p>\n
She said Joel shared a song on his Instagram Story with sad lyrics about a relationship ending.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt said \u2018I need to be alone now, I need to be alone. Your love is not my lifeline; your love is not my home. Returning you your not mine to me you don\u2019t belong I\u2019m better on my own you\u2019re better when I\u2019m gone, and I\u2019m so confused to all the pain and suffering you still want to stay with me I\u2019m done with all this crisis, and I\u2019m finally out of the dark I\u2019m not what you need get away from me\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cWeird to post that when you\u2019re in a happily married relationship, then Em Davies was reposting stories, so she reposted one that said being single is okay as long as you have a bff to harass.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul said Joel later posted a photo of Davies labelling her his \u201cwife\u201d with an arrow pointing to her face.<\/p>\n
Joel also commented on Paul\u2019s post about the rumour saying \u201cI just like the song. I post songs most days.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Monday, Davies took to Instagram to immediately shut down rumours they had gone their separate ways.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust clearing this up because I\u2019ve had some people send me this nonsense,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n
\u201cJoel and I have never broken up. We\u2019ve never separated. we\u2019ve never even been close to breaking up.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlease stop making up storylines based on assumptions. These\u2019s no subliminal messages in the music we share or the quotes we like.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re very happily married and very much in love and always have been.\u201d<\/p>\n
Davies ended her statement with a dig at people fuelling the rumour mill.<\/p>\n
