Los Cóndores defeated Romania in a test match in Santiago on Saturday evening.

The scheduling of Chile XV on the same weekend was not an error; rather, it was a strategic decision made by the governing body, Chile Rugby. This was done as part of Chile Rugby’s High Performance program and direction. Chile is moving towards introducing a second Super Rugby Americas (SRA) franchise for the 2026 season. The separation of players into two teams is a policy of testing the waters.

CHILE XV
1 Norman Aguayo, 2 Augusto Bohme, 3 Baltazar Gurruchaga, 4 Pharel Muñoz, 5 Santiago Valenzuela, 6 Thomas Cooper, 7 Augusto Villanueva, 8 Joaquín Milesi, 9 Sebastián Bianchi (capt.), 10 Juan Cruz Reyes, 11 Marco Alvano, 12 Felipe Méndez, 13 Rodrigo Araya, 14 Luca Strabucchi, 15 Martín Escobar

Replacements: 16 Rafael Silva, 17 Benjamín Moreno, 18 Max Kennedy, 19 Fabian Lagos, 20 Cristobal Soto, 21 Santiago Wood, 22 Lucas Tulón, 23 Julián Troncoso

PARAGUAY
1 Camilo Blasco, 2 Agustín Benítez, 3 Enrique Quinteros, 4 Nahuel Kacerosky, 5 Carlos Martíns, 6 Juan Martín Sebriano, 7 Ariel Núñez, 8 Leonardo Segovia, 9 Diego Miño, 10 Thomas Guzmán, 11 Facundo Paiva, 12 Sebastián Urbieta, 13 Gianfranco Parodi, 14 Arturo López, 15 Juan Ávila

Replacements: 16 Lucas Otoño, 17 Gastón Salvi, 18 Estefano Aranda, 19 Javier Pérez, 20 Matías Alcaraz, 21 Agustín Dupuy, 22 Patricio Cabrera, 23 Luis Herreira

The Chile XV had home advantage against Paraguay in an international meeting on Sunday.
