Penrith veteran Moses Leota is a man in demand, with four more teams reportedly expressing interest in signing the star forward as he weighs up his future.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old prop has been given until Wednesday to speak with rivals<\/a> and gauge his value on the open market.<\/p>\n

According to Wide World of Sports<\/a>, the Brisbane Broncos, Dolphins, Sydney Roosters and Wests Tigers have joined the Perth Bears and PNG Chiefs in expressing an interest in the star front-rower.<\/p>\n

This comes as the Cronulla Sharks, Newcastle Knights, New Zealand Warriors and Parramatta Eels have decided not to pursue the veteran, per previous reports from CODE Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been on the market for a couple of weeks and that ends on July 8th and after that he\u2019s back to November 1,\u201d CODE Sports reporter Michael Carayannis said on NRL 360.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe club that I\u2019ve heard is Perth, who are keen but only for next season.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Panthers are also keen on retaining his services but face a looming salary cap battle to keep all their stars<\/a> who are off contract at the end of 2027.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just to see what\u2019s out there and then obviously come back to the club and we\u2019ll sort it out that way,\u201d Leota said on Friday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am (happy at Penrith). My manager\u2019s got a job to do and I leave it up to him. <\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, I\u2019ll focus on my footy and we\u2019ll get it done when we get it done. <\/p>\n

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have offered a new deal to veteran five-eighth Cody Walker as they look to lock up his services beyond this year.<\/p>\n

Still off-contract at the end of 2026, CODE Sports reports Walker has been tabled a 12-month extension by the Rabbitohs hierarchy, but the superstar playmaker has yet to make a decision on whether he will sign it.<\/p>\n

Unavailable for this week\u2019s match after copping a one-match suspension, the 36-year-old has been a mainstay of the Cardinal and Myrtle line-up since making his debut in 2016.<\/p>\n

A five-time NSW Blues representative, he has made 238 appearances and a new deal will likely see him reach the 250-game milestone.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll conversations with Cody at the start of the year was that he didn\u2019t wanna make a decision or give too much thought about it until the back end of this season,\u201d teammate Campbell Graham recently said on SEN Radio.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he was going to get a gauge of how we went as a group and where he felt he was at, performance wise and obviously physically. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think performance wise, I think he\u2019s still right up there in terms of creative halves in the competition, and what else Cody brings to our squad, which is measurable in terms of the benefits that players around him get, is his coaching ability as well. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt is almost like having a member of the coaching staff out there with you. That\u2019s how in-depth his knowledge of the game is, it\u2019s really incredible. <\/p>\n
