Retired NRL great Jai Arrow<\/a> and his partner Berina have tied the knot in a \u201cspecial\u201d moment after a difficult year away from the field.<\/p>\n

Just two months after the Rabbitohs star announced his medical retirement due to his diagnosis with motor neurone disease<\/a>, Arrow\u2019s now-wife posted to social media on Tuesday morning to confirm their marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did a thing,\u201d she said via Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t know how Italy will top this one but we can\u2019t wait to celebrate with all our family and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair were engaged since late-2024. Their daughter Ayla was born last year. <\/p>\n

Arrow hung up the boots earlier this year after the devastating MND revelation which rocked the rugby league world to its core.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old has received an outpouring of love and support from the NRL community in the weeks that have followed.<\/p>\n

This weekend, South Sydney<\/a> will throw a birthday party as part of the \u201cJai July\u201d celebrations<\/a> to honour the former State of Origin star.<\/p>\n

Arrow will also present the Origin shield for Wednesday night\u2019s decider.<\/p>\n

The tough Queenslander played 178 first grade games with the Broncos, Titans and Rabbitohs, along with his 12 Origin appearances. <\/p>\n
