The company that operates the Delta Dental online healthcare portal my.deltadentalcoversme.com<\/a> has been accused of violating privacy policies. <\/p>\n Wyssta Services Inc., a dental claim processing company, agreed to a $12.7 million settlement after a lawsuit claimed the company violated the Electronic Communications Privacy Act and the Illinois Eavesdropping Statute when it “allegedly installed and implemented advertising and analytics tracking technologies, such as cookies and pixels, on a website it operates for Delta Dental plan members,” according to the settlement website<\/a>. <\/p>\n The website included a portion Delta Dental plan members use to log into their credentials. <\/p>\n Wyssta denied the claims and did not admit to any wrongdoing as part of the settlement, saying it agreed to the deal “to avoid the costs and risks, disruptions, and uncertainties of ongoing litigation.”<\/p>\n Here’s what to know: <\/p>\n Who is eligible to file a claim? <\/p>\n Anyone who logged into the website using their Delta Dental credentials between Jan. 23, 2021 and Jan. 23, 2025 is eligible to file a claim. <\/p>\n When is the deadline to file a claim? <\/p>\n Claims must be submitted online no later than Aug. 20, 2026.
