Yabusele will become one of the top three highest-paid players in Europe, according to Scotto.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Guerschon-Yabusele-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-470575\"  \/>Following a five-year absence from the NBA, Yabusele had a strong return with the Sixers in 2024\/25, then <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2025\/07\/knicks-guerschon-yabusele-agree-to-two-year-deal.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">signed<\/a> a two-year deal with the Knicks last summer.<\/p>\n<p>Yabusele had a disappointing and abbreviated stint with the Knicks. He appeared in 41 games off the bench but only averaged 8.9 minutes in those contests. He declined his 2026\/27 player option in February to help facilitate a trade from the Knicks to the Bulls.<\/p>\n<p>In Chicago, Yabusele got extensive playing time for a team more concerned with the draft lottery than piling up wins. He started 19 of 26 games and averaged 10.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest.<\/p>\n<p>Yabusele <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2026\/04\/free-agent-notes-porzingis-yabusele-sharpe-valanciunas.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">expressed a desire<\/a> to stay in the NBA but <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2026\/05\/dubai-basketball-expresses-interest-in-guerschon-yabusele.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">drew much more interest overseas<\/a>.
