\n\t\u201cNCIS: New York<\/a>,\u201d the upcoming newest entry in the CBS<\/a> franchise, has added four new cast members. <\/p>\n

\n\tVariety has confirmed that Jennifer Beals<\/a> (\u201cThe L Word,\u201d \u201cDevil in a Blue Dress\u201d), Jacqueline Byers (\u201cSalvation,\u201d \u201cDark Winds\u201d), Shane Harper (\u201cGood Luck Charlie,\u201d \u201cPower Book IV: Force\u201d), and Devin Druid (\u201c13 Reasons Why,\u201d \u201cOlive Kitteridge\u201d) have all been cast in series regular roles. They will appear opposite previously announced leads LL Cool J and Scott Caan.<\/a> <\/p>\n

\n\tIn the show, LL Cool J will reprise the role of NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna, whom he played for 14 seasons on \u201cNCIS: Los Angeles.\u201d The logline for the show states:<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLegendary NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) returns to his hometown of New York City to the NCIS field office, partnering with a roguish agent (Caan) and helping lead a new team as they are tasked with high-stakes missions to defend one of the most vital cities and ports in the world.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tBeals will play Assistant Special Agent in Charge Robyn Wells, described as \u201cthe director of the NCIS New York field office who leads with her intuition and is widely respected by her team.\u201d Byers stars as NCIS Special Agent Addison \u201cAddy\u201d Ross, said to be \u201ca rock-solid, tough and resourceful agent with something to prove.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHarper stars as NCIS Special Agent Wyatt Hill, \u201cwho is fearless, sharp, highly skilled in the field and a hopeless romantic.\u201d Druid stars as NCIS Tech Specialist Sean Sullivan, \u201cwho is witty and brilliant but resistant to authority.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tBeals is repped by CAA, Constellation Media Group, and Felker McGinnis & Ryan. Byers is repped by Strand Entertainment, CESD Talent Agency, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Harper is repped by Gersh, Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Druid is repped by Untitled Entertainment and Gang Tyre.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe pilot for \u201cNCIS: New York\u201d was written by R. Scott Gemmill, who wrote on all 14 seasons of \u201cNCIS: Los Angeles\u201d and served as showrunner for seven seasons; he now serves as writer and creator of \u201cThe Pitt\u201d on HBO Max. Byron Balasco, who was a writer-producer on CBS\u2019 \u201cWithout a Trace\u201d and created the Audience Network series \u201cKingdom,\u201d will serve as showrunner on \u201cNCIS: New York.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tGemmill and Balasco are both executive producers, with Adam Davidson, Kyle Harimoto, Joe Wilson, LL Cool J and Jason Barrett also executive producing. The series is produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe mothership show remains a cornerstone of the CBS lineup, with \u201cNCIS\u201d set to debut its 24th season Tuesdays this fall and the prequel \u201cNCIS: Origins\u201d set to debut its third.
