Olympiacos Piraeus have officially announced the signing of Jean Montero on a three-year contract.<\/p>\n

Olympiacos Piraeus<\/a> have officially announced one of the biggest transfers of the EuroLeague offseason.<\/p>\n

The club confirmed that star guard Jean Montero<\/a> is joining Olympiacos on a three-year deal.<\/p>\n

Dominican guard spent two years with Valencia and thoroughly impressed during his stint in Spain.<\/p>\n

He became a key piece in achieving the club’s best-ever EuroLeague finish and securing Valencia’s second Liga Endesa title.<\/p>\n

In the 75 games he played during the 2025-26 season, Jean averaged 15.2 points on 36.2% three-point shooting, 2.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals for an average performance index rating of 18.4.<\/p>\n

Montero continued to add to his list of individual accolades by being selected to the All-EuroLeague First Team, being named EuroLeague Playoffs MVP and earning the EuroLeague Rising Star award.<\/p>\n

In Liga Endesa, he was once again selected to the All-Liga Endesa First Team and was named MVP of the Finals Playoffs, which ended with Valencia Basket lifting its second acb championship title.<\/p>\n
