On Tuesday, the Washington Wizards<\/a>\u00a0completed their trade with the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> that landed them Deandre Ayton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ayton is coming off a season where he had averages of 12.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per contest while shooting 67.1% from the field in 72 games.<\/p>\n

washingtonwizards.com wrote:<\/a> \u201cThe Washington Wizards announced today they acquired center Deandre Ayton from the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for guard Jaden Hardy and two future second-round picks.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2021, the 27-year-old helped the Suns reach the NBA Finals.<\/p>\n

He had spent the first 7.5 seasons of his career with the Atlanta Hawks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In that span, Young made four All-Star Games (and helped the franchise reach the 2021 Eastern Conference finals).<\/p>\n

His career averages are 25.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 43.3% from the field and 35.2% from three-point range in 498 games.<\/p>\n
