After a tight first half where their opponents lead 6-4, the Tigers were unable to match the intensity of their opponents in the second half. Their poor execution was to blame; with more possession (52%) and a superior completion rate (76%), they made 9.5m per carry and had 644 PCM’s. Their shortcomings were highlighted by just 2 line breaks 28 missed tackles. The loss also saw them drop to 12th on the ladder with tough matches to come, their fate is in their hands.

Nothing to be worried about

The Warriors had a week off last week to lament their 26-24 road loss to the Dolphins, but that result is hardly anything to worry about. In a classic match between two quality teams, they were back and forth with one another, trading blows for the entire contest. A late try gave them a chance of stealing victory but their opponents defence held strong. They were good with 51% possession allowing them to complete at 80%, leading to 8.5m per carry. They will acknowledge their shortcomings and what must improve. To start, they cannot miss 44 tackles or allow 8 line breaks and expect to win. They need to also stop their opponents PCM’s (540).

Stats that matter

– The Tigers caused a 32-14 upset in Round 4 over the Warriors. This is the only game the Tigers have won against their opponents recently, with the Warriors winning 9 of the past 10 games between these two sides. Home ground advantage will matter little too, with the Tigers winning just 39% of matches here while the Warriors have won just 42% of games here.

– Despite 2 of the past 5 games being decided by 13+ points, the average margin of victory is 12 points. In the same matches, the average total points is 48, with no fewer than 44 points and no more than 52 points scored in a game.

– It is no surprise that the Warriors are the superior team on both sides of the ball in 2026. They average 29ppg in attack and concede just 18ppg defensively. The Tigers manage just 21ppg in attack and allow 28ppg defensively.

Too hard if they’re at their standard

A boost for the Warriors with the return of Fisher-Harris and Halasima returning to the team to off-set with the withdrawal of Barnett and Capewell after a bruising Origin on Wednesday. The Tigers receive their own boost with Luai returning. If the Warriors maintain their standard which they have set all season, they should be more than capable to handle what the Tigers produce. An improved effort from the home team is expected, especially with the return of certain players. That will only matter so much though, with quality spread across the field increasing the Warriors chances. They deliver consistency and poise over 80 minutes; this is something the Tigers are still striving to achieve. In terms of an investment, the Warriors should be too strong in the middle, giving them the firepower needed to cover the line. They may only pull away in this contest late with tough, cold conditions expected for this contest. This will be familiar to them and should not be feared.

Warriors -9.5

$1.90 (1.5 units)

Tigers vs Warriors Same Game Multi

Leg 1 = Total points over 45.5 – see above for justification.

Leg 2 = Doueihi to score – he has been in great form recently, with 5 tries from his past 4 NRL matches. Playing at this ground only further supports his case, with 3 tries from his past 2 matches here.

Leg 3 = Halasima to score – returning in this game, Halasima is a noted try scorer. He has 2 tries from his past 3 matches against the Tigers and will want to quickly return to form. There is no better way to achieve that than scoring tries.

Tigers vs Warriors Betting Odds & Match Info

Date: Friday 10th July
Location: Campbelltown Sports Stadium, Sydney
Time: 8pm (AEST)

Odds: Tigers $3.35 vs Warriors $1.33
Line: +9.5
Points: 45.5

Where to Watch Tigers vs Warriors

Watch the Tigers vs Warriors match live and ad free on Kayo Sports.

Tail our 2026 NRL Tips at Dabble!

Not familiar with Dabble or want to learn more? Check out our full Dabble review here, or by clicking the banner below.

The opening game of NRL Round 19 begins on Friday following a blockbuster game 3 decider in State…

[568
64,63,761,762,158,4025,4023,30238,159,85,13338,3198
post-789661","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-nrl","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-national-rugby-league","tag-nationalrugbyleague","tag-nrl","tag-nrl-best-bets","tag-nrl-betting-tips","tag-nrl-tips","tag-rugby-league","tag-sports","tag-tigers","tag-warriors
["GET
