SPRINGFIELD\u00a0– The Missouri State women’s\u00a0tennis Fall 2026 signing class is awaiting the arrival of three transfers and three freshmen to its roster. Head coach Austin Hale<\/a> has announced that the new additions to the team are Agata Golubchenko, Iris Alvarez, Martina Medina, Noah Rojas, Andjelija Markovic and Marielou Baudouin.<\/p>\n

The players joining the Bears this fall are:<\/p>\n

Agata Golubchenko (Freshman, Springfield, Missouri)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Golubchenko will join the Bears\u00a0as a local product\u00a0from Springfield after earning\u00a0four-star\u00a0recruit accolades and becoming the No. 2 ranked women’s player in Missouri and\u00a0the\u00a0No. 111\u00a0player\u00a0nationally.<\/p>\n

Coach Hale on Golubchenko:\u00a0<\/p>\n

“We’re very excited to welcome Agata to our program and to keep local talent in Springfield. She’s a tremendous competitor with a strong work ethic. Agata has developed her game tremendously over the past few years in the U.S. and has established herself as one of the top junior players in the country. She will make an immediate impact in our lineup.”<\/p>\n

Iris Alvarez (Freshman, Gijon, Spain)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alvarez will join the Bears from Spain as an incoming freshman after a successful junior career,\u00a0where she amassed the 76th Spanish Open ranking as well as the 21st position in the\u00a0under-18\u00a0category.<\/p>\n

Coach Hale on Alvarez:<\/p>\n

“Iris is a great addition to our team and someone we’re really excited about. She’s a smart, disciplined player who competes at a high level in Spain, where she’s established herself among the top juniors in the country. We are excited to see what she will do as a Bear.”<\/p>\n

Martina Medina (Freshman, Castellon, Spain)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Medina will also join the Bears from Spain as an incoming freshman after a successful junior career where she amassed the 73rd Spanish Open ranking as well as the 20th position in the\u00a0under-18\u00a0category.<\/p>\n

Coach Hale on Medina:<\/p>\n

“Martina is an outstanding addition to our program and someone we’re thrilled to have on the team. She’s a talented lefty with a complete all-around game and has consistently proven herself as one of the top players in Spain. Martina brings high-level tournament experience, competitiveness and a\u00a0mature approach to training and competition. We’re confident she’ll make an immediate impact in our lineup and help raise the standard for our team.”<\/p>\n

Noah Rojas (Junior, Tegueste, Spain)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rojas joins the Bears as a transfer from Hillsborough Community College (ranked No. 1 in the Junior Collegiate rankings) where she achieved remarkable success in her freshman and sophomore years. Rojas was part of the HCC squad that captured the 2025 and 2026 JUCO\u00a0national\u00a0championships. Individually,\u00a0Rojas achieved 41 wins in singles and 38 wins\u00a0in doubles along with the No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles rankings in the nation. In both 2025 and 2026, Rojas won the JUCO singles and doubles\u00a0national\u00a0championships. She also captured the 2025 ITA Cup and Regional doubles championships and was a 2025 ITA Regional singles semifinalist.<\/p>\n

Coach Hale on Rojas:<\/p>\n

“Noah is a proven winner, bringing national championship experience and high-level doubles success from the nation’s top JUCO program. We are excited to have Noah on the team. Her experience competing at a high level and her commitment to excellence make her a valuable addition to our program. Noah understands what it takes to win championships, and she brings a competitive mindset, big weapons\u00a0and\u00a0a belief\u00a0that will strengthen our culture and impact our lineup from day one.”<\/p>\n

Andjelija Markovic (Sophomore, Bor, Serbia)<\/p>\n

Markovic joins the Bears\u00a0as a transfer from the University of Utah where she competed for one season as a freshman. She\u00a0was part of the first Utah team to qualify for the NCAA Tournament since the 2012 season.<\/p>\n

Coach Hale on Markovic:<\/p>\n

“We’re excited to add Andjelija to our program. Coming from Utah, she knows what it takes to compete at a high level after playing in the Big 12 and helping the Utes reach the NCAA Tournament. She’s also had success internationally on the ITF Tour. More than anything, she’s the kind of person and competitor we want in our program, and we’re excited to see her\u00a0reach her full potential as a Bear.”<\/p>\n

Marielou Baudouin (Junior, Ocean Shores, Australia)<\/p>\n

Baudouin joins the Bears as a\u00a0transfer from Western\u00a0Michigan, where\u00a0she played for two seasons. In the 2025-26 season,\u00a0she amassed a 14-2 record in doubles with partner Frida Weijerman (6-1 Mid-American Conference). Baudouin also scored a 15-13 (1-2 MAC) singles record over the past season.<\/p>\n

Coach Hale on Baudouin:<\/p>\n

“We’re really excited to have Marielou joining our program. She had two strong years at Western Michigan and has had a lot of success in doubles. She’s someone who works hard every day, competes the right way\u00a0and has great character. Those are the kinds of people we want in our program, and I think she’s going to fit in really well with the culture we’re building here.”<\/p>\n

The Fall signing class joins the returning Bears as women’s tennis gears up for\u00a0its\u00a0second season in Conference USA.<\/p>\n
