The 2026 NBA Summer League continued with several intriguing matchups in Las Vegas on Friday.<\/p>\n
Los Angeles Lakers rookies Robbie Avila and Cameron Carr are set to suit up against the Oklahoma City Thunder, while Brooklyn Nets guard Mikel Brown Jr. competed against the New York Knicks after he was selected with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 draft.<\/p>\n
Here are the top performances and highlights from each game.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn Nets vs. New York Knicks, 6 p.m. ET<\/p>\n

The Heat didn’t make a selection in the first round of the 2026 draft, but scooped up Ryan Conwell with the No. 37 overall choice.<\/p>\n
Conwell finished with 19 points on Friday, shooting 7-of-16 from the field. He also recorded three assists, one rebound and one block as Miami cruised to the win.<\/p>\n
Both of Milwaukee’s 2026 lottery picks, Brayden Burries and Nate Ament, suited up against the Heat. <\/p>\n
Burries only shot 6-of-15 from the field, but scored a team-high 18 points to go along with three rebounds and three assists. <\/p>\n
Ament scored six points on 3-of-7 shooting.<\/p>\n
