Former Los Angeles Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald was seen working out on the team’s practice field in a video posted by TMZ Sports’ Michael J. Babcock on Friday.<\/p>\n
Donald spent approximately one hour on the Rams’ field doing ladder drills, medicine ball throws and agility work, per TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n While the three-time Defensive Player of the Year stepped away from the sport at the end of his 2023 campaign, there have been rumors<\/a> regarding him coming out of retirement throughout this offseason.<\/p>\n Donald would also have a new star teammate if he choses to return to the NFL and join Los Angeles, as the Rams acquired star pass-rusher Myles Garrett in a\u00a0blockbuster trade<\/a>\u00a0with the Cleveland Browns on June 1.<\/p>\n Garrett discussed the possibility of playing alongside Donald following the change of scenery.<\/p>\n “Haven’t talked yet, but definitely expect to talk soon,” Garrett said in a June 3\u00a0interview<\/a>\u00a0with the Rams’ J.B. Long. “I don’t know what his plans are and I won’t pretend to know. I know a lot of people are excited and thrilled about the idea of him coming back. But just being able to talk to him, learn from him, I’ll take all the advice I can. He’s a great one for a reason, so just trying to get him in here talking to the guys. Especially the defensive line, that can mean a lot.”<\/p>\n Donald confirmed that he was considering coming out of retirement as well.<\/p>\n
