But things got wild during the pre-fight press conference when friends of Umar Nurmagomedov confronted Dvalishvili about various things he\u2019s said about Nurmagomedov.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">When asked if he\u2019d wrestle Umar in RAF at the pre-fight press conference, Merab didn\u2019t mince words.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cNo, never, f&#8211;k that guy,\u201d Dvalishvili said. \u201cWhoever RAF choose, I\u2019ll fight. Except this spoiled guy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Some of Nurmagomedov teammates and fans got upset about that, and that anger boiled over with a scuffle breaking out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Dvalishvili has always said that Umar Nurmagomedov has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/2025\/1\/9\/24340133\/merab-disrespectful-umar-spoiled-little-baby-coasting-nurmagomedov-name-ahead-ufc-311-mma\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">coasted on his last name<\/a> and never deserved a fight with him to begin with. He\u2019s even less inclined to fight Umar again, which has led to an increasingly intense rivalry to grow between the two and those around them.
