The video shared online by Lara O\u2019Byrne, who moved to Perth last year, has left Australians living overseas revelling in nostalgia.<\/p>\n
In the clip posted to Instagram, O\u2019Byrne said it is something she will \u201cnever get over\u201d, as she filmed the noises of birds flying overhead in an Australian street.<\/p>\n
O\u2019Byrne captured herself reacting to the overlapping sounds of the birds in an Australian street.<\/p>\n
She was stopped in her tracks and fell silent mid-sentence as the birds squawked louder and louder.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re so funny,\u201d O\u2019Byrne said to the camera.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll never get over the noise of the birds in Australia,\u201d she captioned the clip.<\/p>\n
O\u2019Byrne\u2019s shock at the soundtrack to Aussie life was met with nostalgia and pride online, with Australians sharing their own memories.<\/p>\n
\u201cI never realised how loud they were and how much I would miss the sound until I moved overseas,\u201d one viewer commented.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe sounds of kookaburras in the mornings were my alarm clock for school,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n
One Instagram user described the sounds as \u201crelaxing\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI haven\u2019t heard these sounds in a few months and I can\u2019t even explain how nostalgic it is,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n
Others joked that the deafening sounds of birds are the equivalent of \u201cwhite noise for Aussies\u201d.<\/p>\n
