The live-action version of Disney\u2019s Moana, starring Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson and Catherine Laga\u02bbaia, is hitting choppy waters in its opening weekend at the box office.<\/p>\n
The new version of Moana comes 10 years after Disney released the original animated version of the tale. The film was a blockbuster hit, earning $248.7 million domestically and $435.6 million internationally for a worldwide box office tally of $684.3 million against a $150 million budget before marketing costs.<\/p>\n
