Titans coach Josh Hannay has let rip in his post match press conference, believing his side was on the wrong end of a couple of dubious calls in the Gold Coast\u2019s heartbreaking 22-18 loss to the Storm.<\/a><\/p>\n

Hannay was dejected and frustrated following the loss, believing there\u2019s a common theme that has emerged.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gutted that they didn\u2019t get the ultimate result but how can you not be proud of how they\u2019re representing this club?\u201d Hannay said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes you just don\u2019t get the bounce or the rub of the green and sometimes, that\u2019s all you need when you\u2019re putting in that much effort. <\/p>\n

The Titans were pinged for a forward pass early in the first half which denied a certain try, but it was a decision just before half time that raised some eyebrows.<\/p>\n

Storm centre Jack Howarth\u2019s 32nd minute try was confirmed despite replays showing he may have committed a double movement.<\/p>\n

That gave Melbourne a 12-6 lead at the break.<\/p>\n

According to Fox League\u2019s Michael Ennis and Bryan Fletcher, the Titans have every right to feel hard done by.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a double movement,\u201d Fletcher said with Ennis adding: \u201cThe scores should be locked up at half time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The usually measured Hannay couldn\u2019t hide his disdain with the Bunker\u2019s decision, making a stunning claim in how the Titans are officiated compared to other clubs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat Jayden Campbell pass to start the game. Not forward,\u201d Hannay said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI expected it (the Howarth try) to go the way it went just because of who they are and who we are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s (the frustration) is probably just an accumulation. It\u2019s not just about tonight.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re way off (on the scoreboard), like if you\u2019re getting beat by a lot, it\u2019s really hard to look at other things, but when we\u2019re in the fight so often, that\u2019s where the frustration comes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hannay was then asked if he would seek a please explain from the NRL<\/p>\n

\u201cThe most pointless exercise in our game is talking to the officials during the week. It\u2019s pointless. It just makes you more frustrated. <\/p>\n
