The Australian Speedrun Marathon 2026 (ASM2026), the flagship annual marathon of the AusSpeedruns community, is returning to Adelaide from Tuesday 14 July to Sunday 19 July, raising funds for Game On Cancer\u00ae,<\/a> a Cure Cancer<\/a> initiative.<\/p>\n

Held at the Adelaide Rockford Hotel, ASM2026 will bring together some of Australia\u2019s most passionate speedrunners for six days of live runs, community moments and donation incentives, with fans able to attend in person or tune in live via the AusSpeedruns Twitch channel.<\/p>\n

Speedrunning is the art of completing video games as quickly as possible, often requiring intense practice, technical skill and deep knowledge of each game. This year\u2019s ASM2026 schedule features a packed line-up of games and categories, including Donkey Kong Bananza, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet\/Violet, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Pok\u00e9mon Platinum, F-Zero GX, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Halo 5: Guardians, Crash Bandicoot 4: It\u2019s About Time and Call of Duty: Black Ops III.<\/p>\n

Tickets are available through the AusSpeedruns website for $40<\/a>, with donations to the fundraiser able to be made online throughout the event.<\/p>\n

The event builds on the success of ASM2025, which raised over $50,000 for Game On Cancer\u00ae.<\/p>\n

Game On Cancer\u00ae is Cure Cancer\u2019s community-powered initiative that brings people together to help fund ground-breaking cancer research. Since its inception, the Game On Cancer\u00ae community has raised more than $2 million to help accelerate research across ALL cancer types.<\/p>\n
