There\u2019s been a variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/google-tensor-g6-full-specs-pixel-11-leak-3663212\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">good news and bad news<\/a> about this chip, like a more powerful CPU but a potentially downgraded GPU. However, the latest information about the SoC falls into that good news category.<\/p>\n<p>TSMC has reportedly started mass production of its 2nm process technology. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ithome.com\/0\/975\/909.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">IThome<\/a>, Google will use TSMC\u2019s 2nm process technology for its Tensor G6 chip. Apple is usually the first to jump on TSMC\u2019s latest process technology, but it looks like Google is cutting ahead this year. As a result, the Pixel 11 series will be the first major flagship with TSMC\u2019s new process, as Apple\u2019s A20 chip will debut in the iPhone 18 series, which will launch a month later.<\/p>\n<p>The 2nm process should help with the Pixel 11\u2019s performance and efficiency. By how much, we\u2019ll just have to wait and see. In related news, a listing recently found in the FCC\u2019s database revealed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/tensor-g6-mediatek-modem-2-3686559\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">references to MediaTek algorithms<\/a> in an RF component test. This lends further credence to Google potentially using a MediaTek modem for the Tensor G6 rather than a Samsung modem.<\/p>\n<p>Google has started sending out invites for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/pixel-11-launch-date-3684941\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pixel 11\u2019s launch event<\/a>.
